We were taking the other day with a friend who has a hard time reading maps and we noted with interest that cartographers have finally come up with a map on a scale of one-to-one. Causby, superintendent of Polk County Schools, was featured in the Sunday, Jan. 6 edition of The Raleigh News and Observer as “The Tar Heel of the week.” In addition to Causby, the article quoted Polk County Board of Commissioners chairman Jeannie Martin, and ACT chairman Walt Hamill.
